GOD-MAN IN THE HISTORICAL MYPHOLOGY AND PHILOSOPHY: A HISTORICAL ANALYSIS

The article attempts to analyze the transformation of the perception of the significance of the myth in the ancient Greek society and the scientific circles of the XX-th – XXI century The notion of the God-man in the ancient Greek society is defined, which implies the man who became God, the mortal who has received immortality (in the case of mythology), or a person who can become God, an absolute (or other form of higher consciousness) and one way or another to overcome the problem of death (in the case of philosophy). Characterized by the technology of the formation of mortal immortality on an example of the myth of Hercules. Obstacles are established according to ancient Greek mythology in obtaining immortality. The philosophy of stoicism, epicureanism on the subject of human transformation is explored. In the article thanks to the interdisciplinary study of the disturbed problems, the ancient Greek philosophy and mythology have been discovered from a new angle of view and the refutation of the average idea of the primacy of paganism and mythological outlook. The threats of modern society, based on the spirit of materialism, are determined. The process of self-improvement and knowledge, including through the study of ancient Greek mythology and modern psychology, has been updated. The article uses such research methods as: historical-chronological, retrospective, comparative, method of analysis and synthesis.
